Lincomycin, a lincosamide antibiotic, exhibits strong activity against Gram-positive bacteria including Staphylococcus, Streptococcus hemolyticus, and Streptococcus pneumoniae, while also inhibiting anaerobic bacteria such as Clostridium tetani and Clostridium perfringens.
Indications
For the treatment of Gram-positive bacterial infections in swine and chickens, including swine dysentery and necrotic enteritis in chickens.
